Eat Eat Love

After a long and exhausting day of travel, we finally arrived, exhausted, at the guesthouse in Cagliari late in the afternoon. Everybody moved in quickly and marveled over the amazing views and the tiny showers.

Everyone was exhausted but was still ready to check out the new neighborhood. The rest of the night was spent exploring, eating gelato, and getting some much needed sleep.

The next day we got up bright and early and headed to breakfast and then up to the University of Cagliari to spend the day with environmental engineering students from Sardinia and Padua. We spent the day hearing from students as well as professors from each of the schools about their lives and ended the day with several heated debates over topics relating to college life in both the United States and Italy.

There were some close match ups, but in the end, I think we all learned that the whole world is our home, the jury was the winner, and love is all you need.

That night, we all went out for a traditional Sardinian dinner. It was delicious and enormous and everyone left overstuffed and happy and ready to spend the rest of the night exploring our new city.
